The East Broad Top Railroad (EBT), purchased in 2020 by the EBT Foundation, has announced that it has started to accept outside work via contract. The shop will first focus on air-brake work, specifically for heritage equipment. They have the capability to “rebuild P, K, and L Triple Valves, AB Valves, UC Valves, 6ET Steam Locomotive Brake Equipment, and vintage Single Passenger Car Test Devices.”
